Two people survived the same plane crash and walked away with completely different lives. One passenger was in the green room on Good Morning America — loud, disturbed, visibly struggling. It turned out he had just lost his job and was going through a divorce. The crash became the final weight on top of everything that was already breaking. The other person saw it as a blessing. Two entirely different emotional states — not because of what happened, but because of the meaning each person attached to what happened.
